A chance meeting at Gamescom in Köln with Jamie and Zeena led to working with them on their new site.

VR Game Showcase is a blockbuster celebration of upcoming VR games and experiences from the industry’s most prominent studios. They put out regular, high production value, shows highlighting upcoming games and important studios in the VR gaming sector, and they’re a strong voice with a huge following.

I met Jake by chance at Gamescom after sharing a pint and I’m glad I did! He understood what I needed and worked with me to create a bespoke and robust website. He totally gets when to be hands-on and when to give you room for implementing your own creativity, and he handles all of the technical stuff while explaining along the way.

I worked closely with Zeena, who led the redesign of the new site, advising where elements may be troublesome to implement in a browser, and handling the mobile and responsive layout decisions. The block-locking home page allows the different elements to be segmented enough, yet coherent and explorable.

Our post-launch support has been unmatched. He’s ready to jump on if any problems arise or if you need to add anything else to the site.
